On 27–28 October 2022, Jacob Orrje participated as introductory lecturer at a digital-history workshop at Umeå University.

Focusing on "Premodern history and new digital methods", Orrje discussed methods used in the project (such as HTR and GIS), but also critically analysed how such methods raise new problems in historical research.
